Chalk Neutral Newbie December 4, 2012 Share December 4, 2012 Hi Guys. The outside of my front left tyre is badly worn as compared To the rest of the tyres. The inside is ok. TVT Supercharged December 4, 2012 Share December 4, 2012 Should be an alignment problem. I had the same problem a month ago - left front tyre going botak (inside/outside) while the other 3 still with plenty of tread.
Yeobh 4th Gear December 4, 2012 Share December 4, 2012 Camber and toe problem. If yr rid is not pulling side way then it is 100% camber problem.

Chalk Neutral Newbie December 4, 2012 Author Share December 4, 2012 To add. My steering abit pointing off centre. To the left. It's alright if it's just an alignment problem. Can it also be due to suspension problem? Just trying to think of the possible problems.
Yeobh 4th Gear December 4, 2012 Share December 4, 2012 The wear pattern will be high low wear patches on the tyres if yr shock is faulty

Yeobh 4th Gear December 4, 2012 Share December 4, 2012 If you rid is using Macpherson struts ( most Asia car do use such design) then you may have to restore to using camber bolts. For those cars using wishbone independent struts, the camber angle can be adjusted either with shims or offset bolts.
Chalk Neutral Newbie December 4, 2012 Author Share December 4, 2012 The wear pattern will be high low wear patches on the tyres if yr shock is faulty Really? Then that's good to hear cos the botakness is very even. Just hoping its not suspension or the whatever arm problem.
