I also learned that most of the time, for whatsoever reasons that you need to cut queue, or change lane in slow moving peak hours jam, if you signal, gesture/wave to the driver on the lane that you intend to cut, he will most likely wave for you to proceed. And of cuz wave back to thank him.

 

I guess generally when drivers see that you are polite, they will automatically let you pass compared to those who force their way in.

 

 

haha yah, usually ppl wave or signal earlier i always give way one.

 

but that time at Plaza Singapura, no signal... the intention is to jump queue cos behind me is a long string of cars queuing up hence i dun give face.

I have no tolerance for people with no intention to signal courtesy. The least I will do is to let go my accelerator.

Lastly, when parking, please turn "ON" hazard "Light" also, so that car behind know's your intention.

One more thing, base on the 3rd video.

Did you guys notice that the 3rd lane car cuts into 2nd lane and the 2nd lane car hi-beam to it while shifting towards lane 1?

And lane 1 is "TS" he saw lane 2 car shift in and also hi-beam to alert it.

That's a blind spot very zun timing there

 

I would say the 2nd lane car very stable "power driver" and get out that situation safely.

Did not brake maybe got car behind, so he choose to shift in and out in a fast and smooth way.

May be if he brake, the car behind him may not react on time.

Sometimes we are not on the spot we may not understand the real situation.

We cannot judge base on only the front captured video.

 

Again if 2nd lane car "kan-jiong" an accident might happened causing 3 car accident and 3 lane left 1 lane then traffic jam long long.

Safe driving is more important.

We only got 1 life, cannot "game over" so fast.

Many times i notice many people simply just on their signal and change lane without keeping a lookout. They thought their signal very big and they have the right of way.
