Bonus not under 37740 annual limit meh?

included la ... that's why it is 17 months x $6000 x 37% = $37,740 ... annual limit cpf contribution ... even you are CEO

which means only $30K (5 months bonus include AWS) is subjected to cpf contribution even your bonus is $50K or $100K

Yes it is considered . The maximum one can contribute to your CPF yearly is a total of 37,740 . Whether you are having high commission or big bonuses , you cannot contribute more than that .

So those who claim otherwise is either talking rubbish or big cannon lo ...

even if you or your company managed to contribute more than that into your CPF account , CPF will do a cash refund to you and your employer going by the amount that was over contributed . Happened to me in year 2010 lo ... luckily company was kind enough to pay me  the amount they gotten back from CPF .

Unless one makes very profitable investments using their CPF , how much one can have in their CPF can roughly be calculated using their age and years of employment .

CPF Allocation rates for private sector and public sector non-pensionable employees

(Based on 37% total cpf contribution)

Allocation Rates from 1 Jan 2016

Based on the above , even assuming one max cpf contribution 37.7k at 25yr old .

After 30yrs it is still very hard for him to cross 300k .

After note; I missed out the INT .... havent do the math yet

If you pass on, your cpf will be given to your nominated beneficiaries.
