How do i key this GPS coordinates into GPS device

I know this is quite malu.

 

I'm trying to get this location into my GARMIN GPS, but i can't seem to get it

 

GPS coordinates

Latitudes, longitude: 1.82798, 102.953776

 

i need to choose N S E W in the GPS but i can't seem to fit all the numbers in

I think those coordinates are in decimals, you need to convert them into N W for GPS, cmiiw.

Try using this website.....I used it for many of my waypoints up in the north.......

go to setting....scroll down.........there is a "coordinates".........and 3 formats.........1 of the format is in this order......choose the format you want .............key in N follow by the numbers.............than E follow by the numbers.............

 

I think our 1350 cannot key in last number...........but still very close in term of location............I usually forgo the last number..........

Your co-ordinates for GPS are N 1 49.679 E 102 57.227........try keying this into your Garmin....

Tap Where to>Coordinates>Format

 

Change to one that suits the entry.

 

Decimal coordinates are usually used in Google locator but not very popular for GPS.

I use Sygic via ipad with external GPS.
