I drove one in Indonesia. Not a D VVTi engine. It is a 1.3 with rear wheel drive. But noy sure about the varient over here. Quite underpower for me at least.

A slow ride to grandmother house. Anyway, if you do not carry trailer, or need to go up steep hill or mountains, then I guess its not a big deal. We are not allow to drive fast here anyway.

Agreed,i test drive the lastest 2L Camry,the feeling.??Same as my 9 yrs 2 months Camry.!Because they share the same engine,suspension,brakes & transmission[4AT].!Only body parts & interior is changed.

Well, too bad they dont bring the manual Avanza, the 1.5 with manual transmission is quite powerful even though the top speed is slow (150-160 kmh).
