Hummer 3rd Gear January 13, 2014 Share January 13, 2014 my family jus bought a new A4 in sep 13, yet to service, the eco system is a bit cock up to me cus when u stop at traffic light, it will shut off e engine, and start it again when u step on accelerator. other than that, everything is fantastic. quite spacious too It is not cock up. It was designed like this. If you don't like it, switch it off.
Jenius81 1st Gear January 22, 2014 Share January 22, 2014 the auto start stop system can be switched off per trip. I think u might even be able to switch it off permanently if u follow some of the overseas audi forums..

Quantum 5th Gear May 21, 2015 Share May 21, 2015 can anyone from MCF to answer why Audi A4/A6 equipped Multitronic (CVT) but A3 equipped S-tronic (DCT)? in general impression, CVT use for lower torque and slow response drivetrain, DCT for higher torque and faster response drivetrain, if i'm wrong, please correct me, Audi normally segregate their drivetrain system combination as: Quattro + S-tronic +TC, A5, A7, FWD + NA + Multitronic , A4, A6, A3 is a particular case, FWD + TC + S-tronic ↡ Advertisement
