Rmteamrims 1st Gear January 21, 2013 Share January 21, 2013 yes, size should be 195/60/15. There are plenty of tyres in mentioned size, choices will depend on your preference for comfort/performance and price..

XenonWhite 1st Gear January 21, 2013 Share January 21, 2013 You can use Hankook which imo is value for money.. But the choice is yours cos there's simply so many to choose from.

Can let me know how good the car is? Plan to drive to Malaysia this weekend. I think 16" will be good because my colleague driving Allion too.. Of course 15" save more fuel la.. depend on u.. 17" might be too heavy for the car ba.. Unless u don't mind after not so fuel efficiency.. This car suppose to be 1 of the best fuel efficiency car.. I sat in my colleague car quite a couple of times before.. I would said I love the comfort of the car but just dont like the wooden trimmings :p He drive to Malaysia also occasionally.. Mach23 2nd Gear February 1, 2013 Share February 1, 2013 Will it be nice to change the rims to 17" for Allion? I'm a newbie here with less than 1 week Allion. Can let me know how good the car is? Plan to drive to Malaysia this weekend. Judging from similar cars on the road its straight line performance is quite impressive for a 1.5NA. My suggestion wld b to improve its handling by upsizing the rims to at least 16" and install thicker rear anti roll bar. Add underbody braces and engine bay struts if wish to improve further post installing thicker anti roll bar.

Cirruslogic Clutched February 7, 2013 Author Share February 7, 2013 (edited) If you read the Allion Japanese manual, they put these in the tyre specs: When I asked my car mechanic if I can change the rims to 16", he told me better not to use 16" tyres as it may hit the internal car part. He said I can change to the 16" tyre below but it won't look nice?!? My manual is older than the one in this URL: Allion Manual 195/55R16 86V 195/65R15 91S 185/65R16 88S Edited February 7, 2013 by Cirruslogic

Cirruslogic Clutched February 20, 2013 Author Share February 20, 2013 Bought 4x Bridgestone Turanza GR90 tyres yesterday. Amazing. I find that my car ride is now much quieter, smoother and light without drag. It is very obvious and it is not a feeling but an observation as I can compare with my old tyres. Of course, it could be that my old tyres were really worn out. Or some may say you will have this experience for any new tyres. Or some other models and brands may also give you this experience. I am not a Bridgestone promoter by the way
