you're right. looks like the Lexus LS is the favoured model by the 2 most important men in Singapore!

 

 

 

but this was taken from 2010, at the opening of khoo teck puat hospital. lately he's more often seen in a S-class.

However those cars entry level too high for elder so R class or odyssey seems to be a better choice, ease of entry level, not too high

i think old lee also uses one. i saw a black ls460 on the fastest lane of the cte with the lane cleared by traffic marshalls a few years ago. it turned off orchard road. the man at the back seat looked like old lee. I was at the middle lane.

what he uses now I dunno, maybe also the latest model.

His Father L.K.Y. also like Lexus,i remembered about 10 years back,he went to Japan,L.K.Y. told the Japanese's press how good Japanese cars are,no problem,he also told them,in the 70-80's his favourite cars are the Mercedes Benz,but no more now,too much problems....so he switch to Lexus[Personal car].

Lexus is a good car but I spoke to pple who hv both a Lexus n a BMW.

 

Ty say Lexus once a certain speed cannot push anymore but the BMW wil keep going faster till its top speed.

 

Ty still prefer the BMW for performance n the Lexus for comfort.

By right president status should be higher than PM, so he should sit bigger car. By left PM here has higher power than president, so maybe that's why PM sit a bigger car than president!?

I always feel that no matter how good lexus is, afterall it is still a toyota. Like you are paying 2-3 times price just to buy a toyota which i migt as well go buy a BMW or mercs?!
