I saw a few of these Hyundai MPVs here, but all used as mini school buses...

Actually am thinking why nobody built more cars like Edix, where 3 can seat in front legally?? If got, then if 3 rows, it will become 3x3=9 seater...

Maybe they predict no many people will buy such a seating arrangement in front. Only those with families usually will consider. Cos actually if seat 3 adults in front can be crampy...

The seating arrangement of 3x2 in Edix is quite clever, but the exterior doesnt look sleek or balanced. Hopefully when the next generation comes out it will look better [:)]

The other 3x2 is a Fiat, not sure it is still in production or not.

Yes, its a Starex. I think this should be the replacement for Trajet. It looks big and boxy, like a Vellifire.... [laugh]

Is there a next generation Edix? I tot it has been discontinued...

That Fiat 3x2 is very ugly. Hardly anyone has bought it...

Size-wise, potentially yes.

But like i said, if the seats are not different from the ones i'd seen in Taiwan, then i think they can save their $$. While the drive wasn't too bad, and I think with 7 persons and LOTs of luggage, the vehicle was still not sluggish, it shouldn't be too bad, but the seats were nowhere near the standard that one would expect or accept for even a entry-level MPV.

Actually it's strange to have 3 adults sit in the front row right? Other than just being cramped, i always felt insecure if someone else would be too near and can in theory touch your gear, brake, steering wheel, etc. Already got problems if kid sits there, but if got adults, could be worse...
