Looks wise, Mazda has always been the best looking amongst the Japs from the 323/Astina days till today. Handling wise, car is also most Conti like but the downside has always been rough sounding engines which they claim is zoom zoom but I beg to differ.

Their fuel economy is also not the best but glad to say there are improvements on both these downsides n if they reach the levels of Honda n Toyota for refinement n fuel economy, they would be the Jap leader for sure.

Mazda has always believed in further refinement and enhancement of the Internal Combustion Engine as opposed to moving to hybrids.

Their Skyactiv-X is a good example.

Last I heard, there was technology exchange between Toyota and Mazda. Toyota wanted their high-compression ICE technology while Mazda wanted some of their hybrid drive-train know-how.

The upcoming Mazda 3 with Skyactiv-X is supposedly a mild-hybrid.

Curious and interested in this. Does anyone has experience installing Mazda Mobile Start? Features seems pretty good - remote start, car finder,

Anywhere idea where can install this?

Apparently it's really poor experience to the point of not using it (check the Mazda247 forums).

Also probably illegal in Singapore since you're not allowed to run the engine while stationary.

Mazda CX-9 end of life? How come Mazda not selling already?

Not selling well due to huge size and high price. So in some parts of asia, they created a stretched CX-5 to replace it.

CX-9 still selling in Australia and North America
