Handling wise, car is also most Conti like but the downside has always been rough sounding engines which they claim is zoom zoom but I beg to differ. Mazda has always believed in further refinement and enhancement of the Internal Combustion Engine as opposed to moving to hybrids. Their Skyactiv-X is a good example. Last I heard, there was technology exchange between Toyota and Mazda. Toyota wanted their high-compression ICE technology while Mazda wanted some of their hybrid drive-train know-how.
