I know a guy who does Brembo brakes but it is not really cheap. But if there are more buyers, prices can be better. If any bros are keen, maybe we can approach him for a group buy or smthg...all parties also benefit.

What's troubling you and why do you want to do brake upgrading. If the brake is spongy, get the brake system flush, replace the brake fluid and make sure yr mech is using a brake bleeder to do the job. For some european cars , the mech has to follow the recomended bleeding sequent procedure if not there is just no way to remove the last few bubbles from the system.

I agree with you.

This brake flush is not very frequently popular or known to car owners.

I change my brake fluid almost every year.

I believe you may be looking to maximize the brake torque in your car to bring the best brake performance for your ride.

Google brake torque and you may find a lot of useful informative articles around.

Brake upgrades come in many forms such as change brake pads, replaceing your brake hose with SSBH and/or getting a BBK. Most of them will improve brake performance to a fair bit but in my opinion and from my limited experience as a car owner and driver, I find changing brake pads to higher friction coefficient ones would maximize the brake performance in a stock brake system. This is to be considered in the light that the upgrading of brake pads is done with getting grippy rubbers as well. There is no point in getting the best brake upgrades and compromised on lousy or floating tires that cannot get the traction or grip on the road surface. In fact, it is the tires that stop the car. Invest in a good set of tires is always the way to go.

It will never get popular, because for most local car owners will not spend more monies on maintenance. They will do it on piecemeal basis and as low expenses as possible. Moreover many also do not keep their cars for longer than 5 years.

In so far as safety is concerned, the amount of money spent on the brake flush is worth the dollar as it improves the brake performance. I am speaking in the context of stock brake system.

Many car owners put car body, tyre, wheels comestic as top priority, preventive maintenance and safety are secondary and should I say low priority.

When any aftermarket spacer plates are used to mount the upsized calipers, it became illegal modifications.
