Tohto Hypersonic September 2, 2018 Share September 2, 2018 Across all the brands, difference between 93 and 95 is 3 cents. But difference between 95 and 99 is 30 cents. But octane level is only 3 difference for both comparisons? Anyone can shed some light? Our garmen sucks more from 98. The petrol tax for 98 is higher than 95 per litre.

There are cost differences in refinement - 1c / Gallon for 95-97; 3c for 98 and up: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/25224603 But I suspect taxes also make a difference...
