But with the implementation of the Euro emission standards, the rise is way more drastic than petrol at $1.69/litre now even with crude oil prices at an 18 yr low. ToyotaShuttle 5th Gear April 1, 2020 Share April 1, 2020 I am wondering if petrol prices will go up if some of the refineries in Singapore close. Maybe SRC or some other refinery. Where will SPC and Caltex get their petrol?

If petrol prices in Singapore can be reduced to a competive level, there will be no need for full tank or even 3/4 tank rule.

How low can petrol prices go, when 1/3 of the retail price consists of petrol excise duty. Then you have the expensive infrastructural, rental, operational & manpower costs.
