The Executive Committee approved my suggestion to lift ERP last evening.  ERPs will be lifted in most places starting next week

They are considering my suggestion of petrol price reduction by next week.

No that one is too one sided.
HDB dwellers already getting a lot of help from the budget.
reduction in pump prices is more important and urgent and meaningful to individuals and businesses.

That would be the last thing to suggest

in fact i would recommend full tank rule implemented.   Together with the pump price reduction.

The trick to good bullshxting is to constantly gesture with both hands left and right like a magician and keep repeating same few words over and over again without actually explaining anything concrete.

The same rule applies to many things. If you can't convince them then confuse them. I think no point comparing MY fuel price and SG fuel price, can only compare within SG petrol companies. Btw, anybody knows if Caltex is a better option than Shell for turbo cars?

It's all in the  additives which is proprietary.

Sinopec sources their fuel from Shell. Cheapest at 23% discount (excluding credit card rebates) till 30 Apr.

Oil prices are at 18 year low.

I recall 95RON was selling at $1.50/litre in 2002.

Do you mean Singapore?

I am paying less than $1.50 for Ron 95 now also what (18 years later). Plus money is much smaller now.

And I don’t remember last time got all these card discounts.

I think 2002 Ron 95 was 1.05 thereabouts.

but yeah, it’s nett price. No gimmicky discounts

discounts were only at a select row of stations at Bukit Timah where mostly rich people stay.

or ulu ones like Jln Buroh

$1.05 or $1.50?

If $1.05 then it’s really low then.

Should be thereabouts. According to my logging spreadsheet which I started in Dec 2003, it was $1.213/litre of Ron 95 before any station discount.

Should be higher than that. RON 92 was at $1.1679 already.
