Neutral Newbie

I think one fellow bidded $108

as $109 = highest unsuccessful bid + $1

besides, $108 sounds much better

$109 still cheap.....it just shows that there is one fellow who bidded $109.

Interested to see the next jumped value.

All thanks the finance minister 50% loan cap.

Today many buyers are finally seeing cheap $156 biddings levels.

Never ever seen before in the entire COE history where the bidding is slow and steady and low prices.

This is wat I call real time, open bidding, where bidders monitor each others bid cautiously and revise upwards until they are satisfied.

Unlike previous biddings where ADs manipulate and pump in 80K at one shot. Down with ADs!

Agree! Who say self bid COE is not feasible.. remember last time COE.. once it pass the quota.. it jumps. Here its like slow and steady!

This should be the way, if more people see the potential of low COE when they self bid.

Don't let AD set it so high.

I hope more will self bid after seeing today's possibilities.

the AD are the ones that are pumping the 80K, 90K COE.. why cos it is not their $$. As long as loan approve.. u can or cannot handle the monthly repayment its not their problem.

Just imagine that COE is cash only.. and can only bid by car buyer.. and pay as your bid price and not the lowest of the quota. Than the COE will be at its realistic value, and show hoe much the car owner is willing to pay.

the big boys will only come in tomorrow.. near closing. With the potential backlog orders and 1 additional week, dun foresee any major changes in COE value.

the dealer's job is to sell cars at a profit.

bid too low, and they dont get to sell. bid too high, and they dont profit.

frankly, given that orders are based on previous COE levels, they will bid at previous levels, if not higher.
