i think this round will be sombering - this and the next round of COE will be sentiment changing.

BTW, the next round is April or next week???

I think individual cannot bid for Open Cat..

To provide flexibility, successful COE bids in the Cat C (Goods vehicles and Buses) and Cat E (Open Category) in the name of the individuals are transferable. However these can only be transferred once within the first 3 months, while successful bids by companies are not transferable at all.

It seems it would be a good idea to bid for open category this time round

Open Cat only 177 bids with less than 4 hours left. Am going to bid Open Cat now. Could get a cheap COE (below $1k)and sell easily at a profit.

You think the COE bidding is first-come- first -serve? Each bid needs to pay also, not free tikam

It is not difficult. Can bid online via UOB website. Just place $10,000 deposit. Can watch the bid price and raise bid anytime by just a few clicks. Will get my Open COE if it close below $1000. If not just lose $2 and get back deposit next day.

Turbocharged

If self bidders don't believe in cheap COEs....and straight away bid $10,000 or $20,000.

Then might ask well buy direct from AD.

This world needs bidders who value low COE, and stick to their low bidding plans!

as expected coe prices dropped those who bought their vehicles at high coe will bang balls...

those who buy at high coe can scrap and buy new cars. those who will crush their balls are those who bought 2nd hand cars in the last 2 years. DEAD STUCK.
