Action started today! Quota 336 but bids received is 373 and yet current COE price is merely $101? [confused] This round all COE bidders bid so low?

These are all individual bidder hoping to get a low COE, bring that COE to AD squeeze them... AD will not go in so early... There is still another 23hrs for them to slowly play the game...

Sorry bro, don't think quite follow u. In your example of 336 coes n 300 bid $20k n 100 bid $1.

The result would be $20k n balance of 36 coes will be unallocated. The 100 bidders will be k/o

the price is not determined by the bidding price of lowest successful bid, but the next lowest (reserve price) plus 1 bid, which is $2.

See the example. Two people get COE, at 71, which is the 3rd highest bid price +1, not the 2nd highest price which is 88.

E.G if 336 COE quota, 250 ppl bid 20k, 100 ppl bid 10k. COE premium is 10001. 250 ppl get it. 86 unalloacted.

I believe so ADs have not go in to bid yet. :D But nevertheless first time action so called started 1 day before COE close.

Normally COE week Wed afternoon used to be non-productive. Now, Tuesday afternoon to Wed Afternoon will become non-productive!

Wastage of the admin fee of $2 for each ATM revised bids.

But good fun for others to see them fight over $101 COE.

You are one of the smart alec.. The earlier bro quoted from LTA website, you mean it is wrong??

Sorry, my bad!! No intention of questioning the website but I had always had the impression

that the coe price determined is the lowest successful bid which would have been $88 based on the example given. In actual fact it is the highest non successful price + $1 in this example.

I learn something new today!!

I had the same wrong opinion as you.

Learned something new today, especially the non successful price + $1.
