Look at it this way, if all those who went in say to bid at $1 and manage to secure it, use it on a base Toyota corolla altis, the base car price is still around $60K, say down 40%, that's a $24K.

 

Imagine if they fail to secure for the next few rounds, and these people ended up going into used car market, all I can say is....

It work this way,

 

If quota is 300 pcs, total receive bids is 500, from highest bid down to number 300 bids, whatever the amount on the number 300 bid, that's the COE premium

They say they have more than 200 orders.. Couldn't be from the 1 st march weekend.. Should be from before 26 Feb order for more than 60% loan orders. Think this few weekends nobody will be stupid enough to order cars when the new ruling impact is not seen yet.

 

They still offer 100% lah just like BMW that's why was biz as usual. Duno when garmen will stop all the loopholes
