Starter motor faulty

Maybe you can give Lion City Electric a call at 6270 2713 (Ms Yeo). They repair my starter motor instead of changing one for $180, but that was 3 years ago....

A workshop at Jalan Pemimpin charged a recon starter motor for Honda Civic at $380 (with labour chargers) w/o GST.

Is this an over price or market price?

Guess have no choice but to change it as the car cannot move...

Yes, the price has not changed. They quoted me $214 w/GST for my Subaru Impreza yesterday.

 

Luckily i did not end up with my regular workshop that quoted  $350.

 

Can look for the lady, Ms, Yeo, very friendly and takes 1 to 1 1/2 hr to finish.

They provide repair services for starters, alternators, aircon repair etc at reasonable price.
