I have a slight tear near the rim on the tyre at the front driver side. It is about 0.5 cm deep and 3 cm long.

My tyre is 1.5 years old and done about 25,000 km. Should I change the tyre?

Thanks but tyre shop will always tell you to change. That is why I need 2nd opinion from tyre experts.

If have to change I will do so but do not want to throw away money if it is not a big issue.

No picture just description. Better you take a good photo and let experienced bros here comment. Else it is like asking a doctor over the phone for consultation.

If both tyres botak soon jus change both

If all tyres r new n only one kana side walk

Jus change one

It's ok de

Not as sensitive like suspension better change one set

Better change that tyre fast

Or use spare tyre if not later this tyre burst

It may cos an accident ya

Further more it's front tyre

Lagi dangerous

I still could do 180kmh (NSHW) with the tear in my sidewalls so actually its ok. I guess it depends on how deep the tear is.

0.5 cm deep and 3 cm long! not worth taking the risk for couple of hundreds!

Agree with u. If you on budget tyre shop also sell second hand tyre you may consider. Patching on side is a no go

I won't take any risk with a tear on the side wall. It is very risky and if it tyre burst while on the highway at high speed the whole car will go out of control.
