KYB Shock absorber ride like boat

Last week my camry became 10 foot lorry than manage to change the absorber after sacrificing my body massage section. lipsrsealed.gif
Now like riding in a boat.
This is my 1st time using kyb absorber gas shock.
Previously got change once 2yrs back but ws use Toyota original shock (should be Thailand shock)The ride is good than.. but kyb(Toyota Japan shock)seem like not so good lei.
Thought kyb Japan should be better than Thailand shock.
Or I had installed the boat absorber dizzy.gif

Kyb not necessary from Japan, some are from MY.

 

Could be the spring. How long have your springs been in use? Are they stock?

Ya spring are stock and 7yrs liao

Springs can last for a long time. Check your shocks again (through a workshop).

Just change the front shock and now I suspect it's the rear shock also uplorry.

now 8 yr liao

still ok le

not boat

I think maybe is my rear shock also got liao. Tmr after confirm with ws than update here

My ride currently using KYB MIJ... Good leh.. Try check ur springs... I changed to lowering sports springs at the same time when changing my shocks...

Same here. My previous ride using KYB gas shocks. Made In Japan. [thumbsup]

 

Change all 4 with wheel alignment (which is a must) after that.

 

Everything works fine till the day I sold my car. [nod]

Me very suay..

Just change front shock less than 24hrs and now the rear jam liao.

Tmr change the rear.

Will be using KYB GAS absorber too since good review here [thumbsup]

You sure your workshop never touch hand leg?

 

KYB general good for slightly firmer ride.

 

Otherwise, save money and go for thailand absorbers, cheap and good.

Absorber is kyb confirm.

Rear absorber spoilt also just confirm.

Will get the rear absorber change tmr.

my previous LGT's shocks leaked oil on its 4-5th year. if i'm not wrong, kyb also.

then changed to bilsteins & tein springs setup. no more rocking.. but got good massage for a couple of years before i sold the car off [laugh]
