Blackyv Turbocharged April 8, 2013 Share April 8, 2013 Both would maintain or up for the coming 2mths... the real test would be in Jul/Aug...
Hexxor 1st Gear April 8, 2013 Share April 8, 2013 the real crash should be starting only 2014/15 due to high level of cars with expiring COE
Pandaeyes Neutral Newbie April 8, 2013 Share April 8, 2013 Likely COE for CAT A is around 50 - 55k since the rebate level for majority of last month orders were ard 50k. Once this batch cleared, the next batch will be those 40-45k rebate levels. CAT B should be 72-75k, marginal increase or maintained. Anyway, its just my personal observations. Cheers. Princey_anne 1st Gear April 8, 2013 Share April 8, 2013 the real crash should be starting only 2014/15 due to high level of cars with expiring COE Maybe many will renew Coe since most cannot afford the upfront loan.
HP_Lee 5th Gear April 8, 2013 Share April 8, 2013 Thinking of it. A COE is a paper. In the first place, it shouldn't be funded by loans. That's kinda funny in Singapore.
13177 Supersonic April 8, 2013 Share April 8, 2013 Should not have drastic drop in this round coe.

HP_Lee 5th Gear April 8, 2013 Share April 8, 2013 ya.. ... and we buy insurance for it.... ... we all quite stupid right? You are right. That's why a car is a luxury item. Is a want. Not a need. Technically speaking, it's not even a piece of paper. Have u seen COE paper before? It's just computer datum.
Hexxor 1st Gear April 8, 2013 Share April 8, 2013 I had seen COE paper..... same quality as toilet paper..... why we have to pay so much for a piece of paper to get a car?
HP_Lee 5th Gear April 8, 2013 Share April 8, 2013 Technically speaking, it's not even a piece of paper. Have u seen COE paper before? It's just computer datum. That is worst-off. But many still borrow heavily to buy car leh. Now I know why, sooo.. many are getting poorer day by day, by funding a depreciated asset. Spring Moderator April 8, 2013 Share April 8, 2013 Any bros here who booked cars with $40k thereabouts COE rebate and were successful last round or the one before?? Cos I heard some dealers although say $40k rebate but bid $60k+ for CAT A cos they still make abeit much lesser. Better make less than nothing at all right??
Elmo 4th Gear April 8, 2013 Share April 8, 2013 Wonder those who have booked under high loan need to cancel booking or go for the 50/60% loan instead? ↡ Advertisement
