Altis hazard light not working when opening door

Hi bros,

 

Any one know what might be the problem when the hazard lights don't light up when I open the door of my 06 Altis? I still hear the sound but there is no light. When I lock my car, the hazard light also don't light up anymore. My mechanic said that it could be the remote control module but where can I get it fixed?

There's a fuse in the alarm control module. ( stock bm alarm )

Agree should be fuse. That the cheapest repair if not is headache liao

If it's really a remote problem, it's cheap to replace. If yours is using the Silicon brand remote same as my 2005 Altis, you can buy it from Lian Siong at Veerasamy Road. Cost me only $30 there and before that I checked with BM and they quoted $80 !

Yup. My hazard lights still work when I press the hazard light button.

Confirm 100% its the fuse....

 

Its down under driver dashboard side. ....

 

Find the alarm module n change the fuse 10a if im not wrong.....

 

Ive got tat same problems years back.

Bro I saw a 20A fuse when I open up a side panel just below the driver dashboard. It's the only fuse I see there. There was a bundle of wires tied up and one of them goes to a button where I can reset the alarm in case I open with my key. Do you think that should be the fuse?

[laugh] The first time I drove an Altis courtesy car, I thought the electrical system something wrong when hazard lights keep blinking when door is opened. Called the w/s and complained the signal got problem, cannot switched off.

Yours seems a bigger problem than mine.

Bro looks like my problem is not the fuse. I changed it and it is still the same. Likely a wiring problem.

Shoul be 10a if i remembered correctly . Its not visible on sight.
