Always starts off very fast but slow down later. I guess the bid should close around the same price as last round.

if all dealers bid 1/10 of their bids, our COE will be cheap.

 

but too bad. potential car buyers think that $50,000 COE is the fair value

noob question..if i got my COE at S$60K..but when i book my car that time ..the price of the car is base on that week COE price said S$50K

so..in true case my COE is 50K or 60K? if 60K..then i consider myself ..earn in term of car price since i save S$10k..technically..correct?

COE bidding should just be open for 3 hours, since that's when most of the action starts. i don't see any usefulness in having COE bidding period for 3 days

looks like AD & their related used dealers pakat to ramp up COE for 1 last hurrah before june deadline. THis is like a stock mkt "long squeeze", pple expect price to drop instead it fly up, then kanchiong spiders loaded w cash will think "woah better buy now before miss boat again".

 

As long dealers allowed to bid on behalf of buyers, consumers will b taken for a ride literally coz they know exactly how many buyers waiting for coe vs coe quota so they literally "fix" the coe prices.
