Granted there will be bumper crop of people who will de-registered their cars in 2014/15. However, 0.5% vehicle growth is until Jan 2015. So means monthly COE quota may not increase significantly. Helloz, Quotas May 2003 to April 2004 - 118,000 Ave monthly 9833 Quotas May 2004 to April 2005 - 120,000 Ave monthly 10,000 Compared to 3135 quotas released in April 2013. Is it true? there will be more de-register coming meaning more COE but same time, Gov will reduce the COE to take away some car population off road.. overall, still more COE from Aug onward IF de register keep at 1,000 piece per month which is highly possible given high COE.. If not u go to any dealership this weekend, strike up a casual conversation with any sales person, then suddenly say" hey I heard your company cutting cost and maybe going thru retrenchment Q4 this year and next year bec sales projection is expected to drop more than 70% than now, will u be affected and be here when I wanna buy in September" see their most genuine reaction...
