Micb 5th Gear May 30, 2013 Share May 30, 2013 Hi all, I'm looking at changing to a different profile. Anyone changed to 225/45/18 lately? Can share with me which tires and $$ spent? Basically I hope to get the GY F1A2, PS3, CSC5 or the Nokian Z G2. Or any other recommendations? Thanks in advanced ! ↡ Advertisement

Micb 5th Gear June 5, 2013 Author Share June 5, 2013 Currently running on CSC3 for around 30000km on 235/40/18. Looking to change to 225/45/18, likely by end of next month. Will possibly try out PS3 or CSC5, as I understand GY F1A2 does not come with this profile. Thanks for the input so far.

Gee 1st Gear June 6, 2013 Share June 6, 2013 i also looking for 225/45/R18, currently on 225/40 CSC3. anyone on HPY can give comparative comments? thanks.
HW1973 3rd Gear June 6, 2013 Share June 6, 2013 (edited) I was previously on 245/40/18 .. GY Asym2 .. Changed to CSC5 225/45/18 and has run this set for about 10K km ... Got them at $300 per pc end of last year... My personal feel is that the ride is less bumpy .. impt to note is that CSC5 needs to run in before you feel the grip... initial feel of CSC5 is that there is no grip at all... LOL ... Overall, CSC5 is quieter than Asym2... My car's start-stop response is also better although some contribution may have come from me changing to forged rims. Hope my 2-cts contribution helps.
