Shop in the usual chain stores for prices, then go to neighbourhood stores to bargain. If you don't know the RCP, you will get carrot. Sometimes Chain stores sell off display sets at good price especially pre-reno sales. Nowadays even chain stores can bargain on large items. They know if they are not flexible, they will not get the sale.

Try the usual neighborhood shops like goh ah bee in hougang or everjoint in amk. If you buy a number of items, can probably get further discounts on top of the final price quoted.
