Ftco 2nd Gear August 14, 2015 Share August 14, 2015 Ftco....was yours a fuel pump issue? if yes, what is the expected $$$ Yes, can crank but won't start. Fuel pump not pumping fuel. About $700 then to replace.
Sunburnsam 2nd Gear August 15, 2015 Share August 15, 2015 Yes, can crank but won't start. Fuel pump not pumping fuel. About $700 then to replace. Yes confirmed Fuel Pump in the process of changing also :( BTW just to check does your fuel tank fill up to 70? .....mine 50L or so start to indicate Low Fuel. I guess this tie I must driven too much when the low fuel indicator lights up (which I usually do) . Maybe that causes the Fuel Pump to fail
Sunburnsam 2nd Gear August 21, 2015 Share August 21, 2015 Changed my Fuel Pump and Car is back running again. Also enhanced the flow of air to give the car a much better boost in power and throttle. And more grumpier sound... Feels more like an Alfa !

Ftco 2nd Gear September 9, 2015 Share September 9, 2015 (edited) Not difficult to remove door panel but need some force. My front speaker gave up. BTW the speaker cover cannot be removed. The whole door panel must be dismantled. Edited September 9, 2015 by Ftco
Ngseeming 5th Gear September 9, 2015 Share September 9, 2015 Taking anything apart is easy (easier). To put it back in its original condition is tougher (impossible for me). My 147's roof liner sagged like 80 years old woman's breast. Not wanting to spend 1 day at workshop and $350 to repair it. I took out the roof foam casing (with help from my colleagues), stripped, cleaned and painted 4 layers of High Temp Primer and Paint. I glued 1/2" black heat insulation sheet to the roof top with 3M foamfast before putting back the casing. For much less than 1/2 the price (inclusive simple lunch and drinks for my colleagues), I got it fixed in the comfort of my work place. The painted roof top may not be so "refined" as fabric but the interior is now much better heat insulated. The cons: despite airing the casing in the open for 2 days, the paint odor was still "disturbing" for the 1st few days after installation. Wifey complained a little, but WTH, with money and time saved, I am happy..
Ftco 2nd Gear September 12, 2015 Share September 12, 2015 Not difficult to remove door panel but need some force. My front speaker gave up. BTW the speaker cover cannot be removed. The whole door panel must be dismantled. After replacing my front speakers with a new pair of coaxial speakers (for straight forward swap, i decided not to get component speakers), i realised that the factory HU isn't strong enough to drive them to produce bass. I am comtemplating two options, 1. Get an active subwoofer, but don't like the space it takes. Used to have a 10 inch bazooka in my ex car, too bulky; 2. Get a two channel amp to drive the front speakers. i am no audiophile and has a budget so just want a simple setup for distortion free sound. Anyone can advise? I will suggest u to find a used 4 chn amp and bridge for the front speakers, in case u need a subwoofer u can bridge the other 2. Y did u went for coaxial when there is separation for stock tweeter and mid driver for the doors?Component will be much better. If possible switch the coaxial to the back and find a decent used component(high sensitivity >86DB http://www.mycarforum.com/index.php?app=sgcarstore&req=showprod&product=92669) for the front and u may do without the amp and subwoofer.
