used 225/45/18

other than the extra loading of 95 and a quieter ride compared to HPY, the latter is a better tyre in terms of grip both dry and wet...imo

i am on 225/40r18 on front :)

So far so good, recommended to my good friend who is driving a 1yo C180, he actually traded in his CSC5 for 4 GT RAdial haha but upsize la.

Good and comfort, he told me more quiet than his CSC5, i was like

Comfort ?? Whats that....hahahahaha...high performance tyre you look for comfort ? You would be wanting the tyre to have stiff sidewalls for handling.

Anyway...I am using it 235/45/17...all I can say is value for money. Road holding for normal street driving on the road is good...so far with my normal driving...I only manage to break the traction once...can recover easily.

On NSH...fastest tested speed is 220kmh.

IMHO...if you value handling...grip over comfort and noise...this tyre can lah. Worth it for the price its asking for.

Neutral Newbie

UHP1 is a good tyre, good wet and dry, sticks to the road, good braking, very minimal tyre screech, relatively comfi and quiet ( initial 1st year )

The softer compound let tyre block edges fether/chip under hard driving

Just note the high wear rates of the rubber = more frequent changes

20K unrotated front tyres were near the limit at 1.9mm thread left

If you like fresh tyres and good grip, this is the one for you!
