Ahtong 1st Gear August 24, 2013 Share August 24, 2013 Another one for the 7th month files. I wonder how this happened? Suicide? Spontaneous human combustion? Unfortunate smoking accident? A woman's charred corpse was found at the Ceylon Sports Club at Balestier Road yesterday morning. According to Lianhe Zaobao, an eyewitness last saw her on fire at 11.50am, when she fell onto the grass. The Singapore Civil Defence Force was alerted to the incident and rushed to the scene, but she had already died, reported the Chinese daily. After her body was removed, the silhouette of her scorched body remained on the grass. Six women and one man later appeared at the scene, and one of the women who was middle aged and wearing a yellow sari had to be helped to her feet by the others. The group later went to a nearby HDB estate and met a young man. ↡ Advertisement
