Wah the price keep increasing... 

小凤（老树）at $13/kg. Very creamy, on the sweeter side but with with alcohol scent and larger seeds. Overall 7.5/10

JB MSW at $20/kg. Dry meat, slight bitter and with small seeds. Overall 7.5/10

Be careful, '包吃' have a new meaning... Lucky I always open durian on my own, don't need to 包在盒子吃...

Bought 3 ( total 7.3kg) Pahang MSWs at $24/kg. From Leong Tee along Tg Katong Rd.

Bitter bitter and creamy flesh. A bit moist but flesh is gao gao. 😋😋😋

 

Nice free cooler bag to pack all 3 boxes durians n mochi in.

Uncle gave 1 box Durian mochi to try. Also say next month got Snow skin mooncakes with MSW Durian filling at $68 per box of 4 pcs. 

Me only like traditional mooncakes with nuts n ham and those lotus paste with 4 egg yolks types. 

Not related to this business or anything here. Just sharing. 

So fast another new weekday is coming soon.

Tompang wifey friend gb. Prices seems reasonable but yielded only 3.1kg from 11 kg ordered. Lucky taste wise not bad.

The yield is v good. 2 fruits total weight is 2.7kg. And I get 1kg worth of flesh.  Small seeds too. 

This is v worth.  Very often, the yield is damm lousy because the empty husks are v heavy.

Less aromatic than MSW but more bitter. Only gripe is the seeds are not cu ci type.

According to TDT, all RP has one side of cu ci and 7out of 10 are bitter. At least those they are selling. One of the bosses can really sniff out the bitter ones. 😄

Guys,  I think can stand by liao,  seem like price started dropping liao. 

Just walk passed one ah beng shop, thier MSW was $20/kg,  now one big lot sitting there going at $12/kg.  But the ah lians not very big,  I think about 1-1.2kg each fruit about there.  Saw they opened a few,  all quite dry type.  D24 going at $12/kg also. 

A quick check over at TDT also shows price softening, MSW going at $21, down from $25 the week before.
