Last saw them at the higher levels of Orchard Plaza (or was it Orchard point?). Old uncle still there.

IIRC the Kramat Rd building also got torn down.

Last time Morgan, Central and Orchard store were like big model shops. Now all of them look like want to die but never die.

Used to go there during sec sch to buy or ogle at model kits.

Got time today to roam Orchard Rd; confirm 4 level at Orchard Plaza next to a dental clinic. Unit smaller than the previous location. Its sad to see a major hobby shop in Singapore reduce to this state.

Also found a surprise at Bras Basah Complex on 3rd level; there's a shop call Hobby Specialist there. Not sure if its part of Hobby Point or if Hobby Point move out of Tiong Bahru. Same guy manning the place.

The plump botak guy?

Many years ago saw him at Tiong Bahru Plaza, formerly from Central at Centerpoint in the early 90s.

Last heard they are now located in Orchard Plaza. Not sure if they are still there. I haven't seen them since Specialist Centre was pulled down.

A lot of model kit shops closed door already. Last time used to have one at Marina Square, next to the cinema. After the renovation of Marina Sq, he's gone also.

Central from Centerpoint moved to Meridian hotel, the one next to Istana. Last went there was like 5 years ago, not sure if they are still there.

Now buy online.

Nope, a late 20s guy long hair ; remembered him from Tiong Bahru Plaza for the Bras Basah shop.

As for the shop at Marina Sq, they have relocated to the Tribex, ( 8 Burn Road, #14-16

Singapore 369977). I get my addiction fix from Mr Lee there.

It's a toy and hobby store located at Orchard since the 1950's...

like someone said, there is a hobby store at Kramat lane hotel, Le Meridian (I guessing the hotel name). there is retail shops level

I walked in one day, saw a old man and old auntie managing the store. the shop sells RC planes, tamiya models, toy soldiers, etc

brings back alot of memories.......

The Marina Sq shop used to be manned byh a guy called Nigel, off and on can see a female there, I presume to be his wife.

Went to Tribex once, think is 7th floor and not 14. Can't remember. Didn't see Nigel there.
