To be fair, accident do happen, in the past too. Remember the Nicholl Highway Circle line construction, that the whole structure collapsed ? And JEM seems to have many problems since it's opening. I am neutral believer of Feng Shui, maybe experts in this field can come comment about JEM Feng Shui, whether is it because of bad Feng Shui. Singapore used to be very strict on QC in the past .... now many rojak workers & inspectors...pinoy, myanmarees, ah toing, tambi...and so on The worst, rushing for TOP...project management personnel do not want to hear of any complaints or comments from site team and they are deem to slow down the completion..in the end this sort of thing happened.... Tunnel collapsed cos of loose foundation (soil) surrounding the bridge. The 'men' doing the soil testing whether did a good job is questionable? Common knowledge that once the earth (soil) is disturb, soil movement is expected. But structural defects are man made.... If only QC is strict, structural defects would not exist ...
