1.4 CRUZE TURBO

Care to share how much you paid for it?

How does it fare among the other cars you had in mind?

I test-drove 3,4 models only. Vios, Elantra and Cruze(1.6 and 1.4T)

Vios is too small for me obviously. Elantra is a good one, but I simply can't appreciate its external appearance.

For Cruze 1.6, I think a lot of guys here already mentioned that it is a little bit laggy and 1.4T provided a much better experience.

Price wise, I just pay what they offer in the standard package, with some free gift which is not worth a lot. By the way, the price listed in sgcarmart is not the real price. As now undre Cat B, i think the price will go up a little bit.

Not sure if this is relevant to you.

I used to drive a 1.6 Cruze for over 5 years.  Air-con broke down twice in 5 years (very pissed) plus many small repairs over the years, especially once the car turned 5 years old.  I diligently sent my car to AD for servicing every 6 months and not high mileage.

1) About 12km/l since I've very heavy foot and engine runs stationary sometimes for 10-15m mins errands. Depends on your right foot. Can hit 13 or 14km/l if light footed. No difference in FC between 95 and 98.

2) Confuse GB in low speed area. Highway is smooth. Easily overtake due to quick pickup.

3) Did my free 20K servicing for free. Price shown on invoice is SGD180+.
