Anyone done a RS Chip for their Alfa?? For my variant, they can inc up to 31HP! for Euro449 looks value for $$

http://www.rschip.com/chiptuning/alfa-romeo/159

The price, I believe, is only for the Chip.

You may have to pay up to double the amount for installation and a good tuning.

My 147 came with Unichip installed in the engine bay. The dyno chart looked weird too. (later it turned out that its readings above 4.5K rpm started to go hay-wired.)

Went for chip relocation and re-tuning at D-T. The chip is now away from the heat in the cabin with torque & hp up by another 13% (average) through the rpm range.

IMHO, chip to tuner is like car to driver. The better ones know how to maximize its potential.

The good old Unichip.....apparently this chip does not need "much tunning" as the map for the specific car model is provided.

Will checkout more....if is under $750 (for chip + installation) to get 31hp ....not too bad (and will get it dyno to see proof else....)

you may want to also understand Unichip better. if its been heated so long, components may fail earlier....just in case :D

speaking of tuning... is there any way to tune the AFR for our 2.2 jts?

My car always runs so rich in the morning that the exhaust/unburnt fuel fumes has found its way into the cabin.

Every morning getting high from smelling the fumes...

only during warm up rt?

i read is the system trying to purge stuff

"stuff" because i am not technical. lol

just like how my idle can be 1.2k before settling...

fumes come in

could it be lobang somewhere that is more worth looking into?

or drive off slowly to expel it
