Just noticed a deep scratch and paint chip at the driver door. Metal is exposed and paint is peeling. Will it rust if i leave it untouched?

For those on PS3. What is your mileage on it ?

I did 40k km on my with tyre rotation every 10k km. Any unusual noise when near end of life ?

There was some whinging noise that is speed dependent. Looked at the tyres n noticed 3 or 4 do not have the thin groove near the outermost deep "trench"

i cannot find info on the wear indicator. I expect they can last 50k with my slow driving style n tyre rotation. But would check tyres first before going to BM to check mechanical stuff.

Pic 1: Tyre with the thin groove
Pic 2: Tyre wear until thin groove disappeared.

No whinging noise when i depress accelerator with transmission is in Neutral .

Noise is not RPM dependent, but km/hr dependent .

The main threads are still deep therefore the thin groove unlikely contributes to the noise.

Any clue?

yes

Your wheel bearing spoilt the 2nd time? You know why your wheel bearing kaput? Heard wheel bearing can last quite long without spoilt.

Depends on well maintained by owner or not?

If well maintained and not abused its a very reliable car.

:D
