with all due respect i think we're missing the point here. it's not whether it's a big deal or easy to repair or not. more like if this is happening 1 week after collection of a brand new car that is supposed to be reputable, then what is going to happen 1 month, 1 year down the road etc.

Whats going to happen 1mth 1 yr down the road?

The engine block will crack? Or the axle will break?

And the point is?

that you want to spend 2 hours at C&C to feel their love?

Or you just cant wait to hear pacifying words or to recieve some freebie?

it takes simply 3mins to stick it back.

No rocket science here, in fact it isnt even primary school maths.

But i understand lah, buy Mercedes mah.

Heee heee...

I won't be happy too.

C class or A class or S class, at least need some standard.

Agree.

Any 1 week old new car owner would be upset, no matter how minor the issue

Actually, they are supposed to have QC check before handover.

Its their reputation at stake

Yours may not be small issue.

If bulb blown , just replace.

If fuse, just replace, but if due to outage somewhere then it will happen again and again all over your car....

to be fair, even if I am getting the attrage/vezel....I would also feel that it is within my right to feel pissed if the car develops such a problem 1 week into collection.

Sometimes this little thing also hang suay 1. Some more glue on le.

Thats why i will never buy a Jap from Thailand or a German from SA.

Defeats the purpose leh....

Sure, but this case, it is not developing and it isnt really a problem.

Just stick it back, simple as 1 2 3.

So can we conclude that SA assembled Mercy is not as good as German ones?

Have any of you guys decided to turn off the eco start/stop feature?  Isn't there more wear and tear on the engine as a result of this function?
