Cabin quiet ar? But whenever there is a heavy vehicle drive past me or when I enter KPE, I can hear loud noises very clearly. I thought my doors are not properly shut.

Anyone else encounter this issue?

When i floor the pedal in sports+ mode.......the pick-up is god damn fast plus the engine roaring sound.....is actually quite scary. 

 

 

 

Collected my C180 Altis today   First impressions:

 

Like - cabin very quiet   ; Steering wheel thick and grippy; steering feel nice and heavy in sports mode, 

 

Dislike - gear shift stick on steering column sure will kena mistaken for wiper or indicator; the display screen in centre sticks out like it doesn't belong there.

hmm.. maybe cos I am comparing with my other car which is noisy. everything is relative I guess.

Congrats bro...it's your money and your car. Nevermind others.

 

You'll get use to the gear shift although I do mis-engage at times when I was out of form. But there are safety features so 'No'...your car will not reverse on highway if you inadvertently engages it.

Dunno which is worse.. my car (not Merc) gear selection is a knob.

 

Sometimes I forgot I was in N but at D and turned 2 clicks and thought was at P but was actually gone to R.

 

I do miss the good old school gears and manuals

I love the V8 exhaust sound.

 

It even sounds good on a bike.

after changing inch rim, the stock brakes will look tiny so BBK (preferably AMG) needed to add to the mod list
