Cool!

I just came off a long term relationship with a hybrid....decided to take a break from such union until another generation or so waiting for the technology to mature even further.

Enjoy your ride!

no lah, just one of the three is at Orchard.

Am I the first one here? C350e plug in hybrid. I bought it all the way from UK.

Congrats bro

Did you buy it from a PI in Ubi ?

That car looks familiar:)

It's a sweet ride

You are confident of private workshops being able to handle the hybrid?

Even C&C also might not have the expertise....

not from PI, I imported it myself.

Some workshop in JB can do it. Malaysia has C350e and 330e.

Salute! Path less trodden definitely!

[thumbsup]

Actually I went to PML and took a look at the 330e earlier this year. But it has been more than half a year, they still waiting for the permission to sell the model.

On the other hand, there are CKD production for both C350e and 330e in Malaysia since last year. In this case, we are far far behind.

all by myself. Not much homologation, just find a workshop to convert the speedo from mph to km/h will do.

Okie can. In that case I wonder why some PI need more than a month to get a model homologated by LTA before it can be approved for sale.

if the car is a new model, PI has to send it for vetl emission test. After test, vetl needs about 1 wk to generate the report, and then LTA needs a few weeks to clear the report and decide the cevs rebate amount.

mine is considered as a used one, also has to go through the emission test. That is quite a heavy cost.
