The custom officer did open one of my recycle bag, inside all the canned food. He look and asked me what it is. I was surprised he asked, it was obviously cans of sardines. So I told him all canned food. He just nod and ask me to proceed.

haha.... anyway just curious, in terms of grocery, what are the items that cannot be brought back to Singapore besides raw meats? Cooking oil and rice can be brought back?

not sure if anyone has posted this here before... some places i went to recently for makan in Melaka...

1. Chicken Rice Ball

BB-376 Taman Melaka Baru, Batu Berendam, 75350 Melaka

this place has nice and affordable chicken rice ball, and not so touristy... a bit far from town centre though, about 20mins drive.

2. Coconut Milkshake

No.5, Tingkat Bawah Jalan Kanan Satu Taman Ria, Batu Berendam, 75350 Melaka

this is the latest craze in Melaka, same locale as the chicken rice ball...

PS thanks @jman888 for the reference.
