Asking for a friend. These lights turned 'ON' after his wife skidded ( but didnt lose control). Now even after resetting ecu and disconnecting battery supply. A shop said his brake accumulator is damaged and need to be changed at a cost of 4ks. Anyone had this problem before? TIA.

i also never heard of it before....feels he wants to carrot us. The lights will go off after ecu reset but then will appear again after moving off. Reset a few times still the same. Unhook the positive power supply but still wont dissappear....but i saw during the diagnostic about doing something on the negative cable to battery. but the mech saw me peering and quickly change the windows!

Eh bro can try Ricardo Auto at Sin Ming. They specialise toyota....I do my servicing there and recently change my alternator there. Went to BM check cos engine there got screeching sound. Diagnose say the alternator clutch got issue. BM quoted 3.8k inc labour...I was like wahhhhh.

Then I call Ricardo...quoted 2k nett...original somemore. Best is BM say must wait 2 day then collect car...wah nowadays how can put car for 2 days...fetch wife...fetch kids...rush here & there.....anyway I sent my ride in at 9am....collect car at 2pm same day....wash my throttle body for free somemore...

Anyway, you can ask for quote at BM first then call to check if other place cheaper....hope that helps wor.
