Pisces69 6th Gear October 10, 2014 Share October 10, 2014 I thought Dettol spraying is to kill bacterias? You consider yourself among them, or you addicted to the cheimcals? Ya the smell quite strong. I also cannot tahan. I wil spray n quickly lock up n by next day the smell not so bad. I just drive with windows open for awhile then can close windows n ON AC already. The the AC wil have a nice plesant scent for quite sometime. But Now I read this..........I never do this year. Too lazy. Abt time I disinfect my car AC again. ↡ Advertisement
Chucky2007 Turbocharged October 14, 2014 Share October 14, 2014 Thank you so much. Since Ubi is closer, I would go to visit Tomika then. However, when I surf the forum and map, I realized that there is another shop called L&Kim aircon next to it. Any idea which is better? Ty L&Kim better as I used both of them before
Fuelsaver Supercharged October 19, 2014 Share October 19, 2014 Autobacs now got promo. $23.90 if Im not wrong. I got it on discount and just try. I tired before. I like the refreshing smell coming from aircon. But smell will be gone after about 2-3 days. I do not know if it really helps or not. But seriously the sour smell from the aircon went off. So far so good. http://www.autobacs.com.sg/pdf.php Every month, I just wait for their update on promo. See if anything catches my eye. I will go. Their products are more pricey. I will only buy when they are on discount. Still offer, bot last Friday, tried today durin car wash. After 15 mins, off AC n engine n open all doors let it air. Smells fresh. Likely to do it every year :)

Chucky2007 Turbocharged November 15, 2014 Share November 15, 2014 My 6.5 year old Mitsubishi colt plus car aircon compressor died on Thursday. Travelled 115000km. Halfway driving on NSHW to KL no cold air. Initially check with KL car repair workshop they told me no compressor part and half day job, lucky never change there bec it's quite a troublesome job as even aircon shop like Lim&Kim took 3.5 hours. Drove back all the way from KL with window wound down.. Super noisy, lucky I have 3M earplug and wore it so no noise at all. Changed at Lim&Kim, $660 new original compressor with full flushing of condenser. Can get it done for $520+ at sungei gedut but didn't wanna go bec too far from house.. I case cannot finish in time then troublesome for me. 3.5 hour job. ↡ Advertisement
