why must oraise them.....they had planned the increase in population...they should have jolliwell planned the infrastructures before the increase....not after adding the additional population. They are paid millions to think of the future problems not think of the solution when the problem is already here to stay!

maybe like property, thats the whole idea? Thats why private transport so exclusive & the taxes are applied in tandem to reflect the exclusivity...

Please don't say our ministers are parachuted into the job without relevant experiences.

We have the most qualified person-in-charge for transport who is very experienced in train breakdowns, ok?

Who's going to build that new Thomson Eastcoast line? seems like very challenging as its located in reclaimed land with soft soil. I reckon Lum Chang can do the job since they got the experience?

Hypersonic

Why didn't SMRT get engineers that run the ERPs. After so many years, we have NEVER seen any ERP gantry fails. <_<

kee si lah.

KNN... where got such thing wan?

so many millions spent on maintenance, and the occurance of breakdowns we encounter now a days, how to justify?

the redundancy of the modes of transport is not there to begin with.

and with the way these operators planned their routes, what used to be "duplicate" routes plyed by busses are all taken away to direct more traffic towards the trains.

so, until they can find the equilibrium between "duplicate" routes for commuters, there will never be any foolproofed way to reduce the angst that train breakdowns create, esp during peak hours.

[furious] stupid fellow, after taking his salary, forgot the KISS methodlogy liow [furious]

so far, no MSO to consolidate the different transport related ministries/board to work together.

Mai lah.

The swap of officers between SMRT and LTA will give these results -----

Instead of causing train breakdowns, the SMRT men will cause traffic lights breakdowns!!

Instead of building bumpy tunnels eg KPE, LTA men will build bumpy SMRT train railroads!!
