Is it more cost effective to buy motor oil like pennzoil and ship it across?

some yes some no.

For eg, I got 6 bottles (1qt) of M1 5-20W Full Syn for About 40 SGD earlier this year with Free Shipping. Works out to be about $7 per btl. So to me, it's definitely worth it.

Dear all,

Would someone please explain the following situation to me:

I bought six bottles of Liqui Moly Ceratec from Amazon about two weeks ago and it qualified for free shipping; the items just arrived today, no issues whatsoever.

I thought it was a great deal, so I wanted to re-order again.

Mind you: forget about the free shipping whatsoever, Amazon says the items cannot be shipped to Singapore anymore!

Has anyone encountered such a situation before? If so, what are the possible reasons for prohibiting the items to be shipped to Singapore anymore, when you have bought the same previously?

Thanks very much.

Cos too many people buy in large quantities.

Algorithm discovered a spike or Liqui Moly Singapore complained. Hence ban.

Very common. They found out. And they banned

Thanks bro.

What a bummer: I bought "only" six bottles to qualify for free shipping, and the cost works out to be S$30 per bottle, which is 40% off from local prices.
