Kb27 Supersonic May 27, 2017 Share May 27, 2017 (edited) I may be biased, but I feel that a certain gender of a certain age group are the ones that complain the most. After I picked up one of these, the next time I looked at my rating, it had dropped 0.05 pt. Edited May 27, 2017 by Kb27
Benarsenal Turbocharged May 27, 2017 Share May 27, 2017 recently I book an uber where it stated ETA 3min. As I was in a hurry, i monitor the location of the car and think quite reasonable. After 2min the ETA change to 5min where the car didn't move from last location. After a minutes ETA change to 8min and the car move further away!! I cancelled the booking and book another one that came in less than 2min. Immediately feedback to uber to waive the cancellation fee. You can call the driver and gan him. LOL. Leo72 6th Gear May 29, 2017 Share May 29, 2017 Anyone knows does Uber/Grab practice the same seating rules as per taxi ? For example, in taxi its OK to take 3 adults + 2 children. What about Uber/Grab It depends on whether the children need to use children car seat or not and all passengers need to be belt up. Meaning if no children car seat, one passenger in front with 3 behind (total 4 passengers).

Jman888 Moderator May 30, 2017 Share May 30, 2017 So Uber/Grab can take only 4 passengers, be it children or adults ? normal taxi can take more than 4 meh? if have toddle better BYO booster seat which i saw many people do that.
TVT Supercharged May 30, 2017 Share May 30, 2017 normal taxi can take more than 4 meh? if have toddle better BYO booster seat which i saw many people do that. Yes, normal taxi can take 3 adults + 2 children, as they consider 2 children = 1 adult. This is even shown in the LTA website. But Uber/Grab how ? Do they follow this ruling ? And what if the child (under 12 years old) is over 135 cm in height and need not sit in a booster chair ? You can put under remarks / note to driver that you small kids, see if they accept. I tried once, grab driver came and rejected on the spot. Uber driver came and no problem. That is the problem and confusion here.... some driver accept, some don't. Those who accept are taking the risk, but I think so far the authorities seem to be closing one eye. Maybe regulations will change soon for private hire.
