sifu, you are right

I can imagine fiddling with two pieces of rigid pipe and a joint in the middle, must be a lot of sweat and swears

the  preparation, jacking, undertray removing took me almost an hour

old rubber hose removed in 30s

new rubber hose installed in 30s

another one hour to put everything back

1. What’s the difference between E200 & E250? In term of features, engine, etc..

2. What should I look out for when scouting at this car?

3. what’s the min RON can the engine run on?

HI ALL, About to jump in to get a COE renewed 2010 E250 Avantgarde.

Just to check, what version of the car audio system is inside those that are sold in Mid 2010? Is it NTG 4.0 or 4.5?

Any known "problematic" areas to look out for to monitor or change given the mileage of about 130K?

Any other pros and cons of this batch of w212?

That's low mileage for a 10+ yo...

The 5 speed box is robust enough to go over 300k...the early 7G on 2011 W212 had downshift issue which was quickly addressed with software update.

Those PFL that underwent FL conversion with the new headlights and all, how do they pass the yearly inspection?

@Selesurge me too! Jus having a hard time convincing my CFO to change to a 10yo car from a 5yo one.

And of course, concerned on the maintenance costs too. Buying a gd condition 10yo car is harder than striking toto...

Hi Shifus,

Looking to join the W212 gang with a renewed COE.

Anything to specifically look out for?

Cheers

Nothing, this CGI version is quite trouble free in my opinion.
