That comes from the RSI function on your ride. The on board camera probably "read" this, just like how it reads the speed limit and display on the dash.

Hey was just wondering what's the meaning of the icon of a car in a box?

Thanks for sharing. What was your front VLT%? legal one. [laugh]

It was 70% front and 25% for the rest, but I've changed the driver and front passenger windows to 70% for the last inspection. Looks ugly!

Please PM me your package....

PM sent.

Sorry for bumping an old thread, but has anyone had any electronics/engine problems? I've had two on my 3 month old S80 D2.

- Check engine light came on after the car tried to restart during a stop/start event. Car began to idle at 1200rpm and moved off by itself as if there was throttle input keeping it at 1200rpm (possible software glitch). Problem went away after manually shutting off the engine and restarting it.
- Car's ESC decided to turn off with an error after suddenly hitting a heavy downpour. Again, restarting the car fixed the error.

Hi, I drove the S60 D2 for 7months now. But I seldom use the stop/start. 1st 15k I always off it. After 15k, even if button is on, the stop/start doesn't work due to my in-car camera. If I unplugged camera, it will work, but I haven't have this issue yet.

I thought I saw similar issues on swedespeed or other forums.

Best call your service consultant, send in for checking.

I try to use stop/start as much as possible but it doesn't work most of the time since it's rarely below 30 degrees or lower. Do you have any links to the forum posts you saw? I've contacted my service consultant and they said to monitor the issue and they will flash a new update to the ECU during the next service.

You don't have to wait until your next servicing to flash your ECU. Arrange an appointment and send it down unless it's not very problematic.

hey guys,

an update on the soundproofing for my V40cc D2.

1) Hood Insulation - I will never understand why it works...but it did. Installed a StP Hood insulation to replace the rather thick grey insulator mat. Similar thickness. This worked to eradicate the diesel clatter at cruising speeds/acceleration. The bane of my ears...I'm a happy man!

2) Fenders and Wheel Arch insulation - I don't know about the rest of you guys, but I've always noticed the resonance from the rear wheels, creating a mini echo chamber effect at the rear (even my Mum said, "How come got the "wong-wong-wong" sound") Granted the car is riding on 18inch PS3. So my buddy went about soundproofing the fenders (pics included), and the arches. Removed the echoing wong-wong-wong effect. Front did little though, but overall much quieter. Even the suspension is much more muted.

IMHO a good investment if you are experiencing a noisy ride from the road and engine clatter. Spent around $700.

PM for contact :) a very reputable Audio Specialist buddy of mine in Toh Guan

The T2 turbo engine produces 122bhp and its displacement is 1.5L?

Doesn't the Honda Vezel / Hrv's 1.5L NA engine produce roughly the same numbers?

The T2 does produce 220Nm of torque, trumping the 155Nm from the Vezel.
