Military Expert 2 ....simi rank is it? anyway RIP...

From what I know, Military Experts are the non-combatant ones. They specialize in areas such as repairing(vehicles, weapons & etc.) and in terms of medical(like the deceased, being a medic instructor). Military expert 1 has 2 levels(ME 1-1 & ME 1-2) which represents 2SG & 1SG. ME2 has 2 levels which represents SSG & MSG. ME3 has 3 levels which represents 3WO to 1WO. ME1 until ME3 are for specialists and ME4 onwards are for officers, iirc.

Anyway they're still uniformed personnels. Still need to take IPPT. Still have to obey regimental duty and so on.

Hypersonic

Let's not make too much fun on the deceased.

Got to respect the family, after all he may be someone's son, someone's hubby/bf, or someone's father.

He has passed away, and we should give him some dignity.

nothing new - during the early 80s when I in army - I see so many suicide photos - some blow their head until open like lotus flower, many hang themselves

Its extreme sad they take their own lives so young.

To live is for God, to die - make sure its of worthy cause.

ME rank system is rather new.. It's still uniformed.. ME4 is equivalent to CPT in terms of payscale..

It's more for non-combatants regulars who specialised in certain non-combat skills like engineering or weapons..

How much does a CPT earn these days?

Just recently went back to Nee Soon Camp in March for first aid and IV (poke needle) course during reservist, was taught by a ME2 or ME1 instructor. Hope it's not him.
