but i wouldn't compare like that..to be really fair to your sales guy, have to see the whole deal...as mentioned in my earlier post, this is something which i do not really like to do as it can become very sensitive. These guys are also just trying to make a living. Your sales guy could have given you something which my sales guy did not.....

 

i like to think your sales guy is not trying to make anything from the top up; i think its more like checking with you whether you want the car earlier, if want, then top up, else just wait for 2 more bids. After all they will have to give you the car within 3 bids. There will be people who will top up just to take the car earlier.

I understand. I too do not wish to think that the SE would benefit from the top up. We communicated thrice regarding top up.

I shared with him my reasoning. I felt that Cat B vs Cat E is only $169.00. And I can't be blamed if the company did not put in a competitive bid. In addition I foresee COE sliding. Hence preferred not to top up.

I agree with u on the throw-ins. How much a SE can do is subjective and varies from SE to SE

It should be AVH-X2750BT.

I didn't upgrade mine, but, some owners here upgraded to X5750 & X8750.

I got those anti-slip mats also. But one of the mat can't be used as it's supposed to be for left-hand drive passenger side, unless you don't mind flipping it over.

I can't help but just wish to share my opinion on the I-stop thing. This is a good feature if you don't need ac and don't get caught in our numerous traffic lights and jams. This is the main reason why electric car still don't work here. Motorcycle can.

 

Beside having to replace battery faster than normal, the 'special' starter is going to need replacement faster than they have catered for the numerous starting.

Got it from Taobao. The one I bought doesn't cut out for the hooks, so, I DIY. Not perfect and not very nicely done, but, it works....

Please do note that as what bro Weewee mentioned, the mat for the compartment above the glove box is not compatible as it was mass produced for left hand drive. So you can flip it over or DIY trim it.

Hi all. May I know anyone of you recent buyers were successful in the recent COE Bid?

Salesman called me to asked if I would wish to top up to get open cat? I told him I was unwilling to do so.

 

 @jazz , Please dont ever fall on that, My Mazda Salesman also ask me to top up... 2 year ago, I need the car so bo bian, did it that time. regret it big time . 

 

 I advice to those whoever want to get Mazda , be careful, i think some of them will ask you to top up after they told you they unsuccessful to get ur COE several times.

 

Another thing is that they told you your used car trade-in value not worth $ which you got  quote from others car agents . 

 

 

Recently my Mazda 5  got accident, after settle claims insurance. Mazda said going to order the new part from Japan to fix my car as they did not keep stock. OK lo...They said is 2 weeks time.....Until now coming to 6 weeks , still said missing this and that ...dont have. 

They can't even promised ETA .... when can get .....

 

And they never will call you for update, when u call ...wait long long until they willing to pick ur call ....Mazda after-sales services ..thumb down big time.
