 Japan will release more than a million tonnes of treated water from the stricken Fukushima nuclear plant into the sea in a decades-long operation, reports said Friday (Oct 16), despite strong opposition from local fishermen.

The release of the water, which has been filtered to reduce radioactivity, is likely to start in 2022 at the earliest, said national dailies the Nikkei, the Yomiuri, and other local media.

no joke, if next year go japan need check the map. the beach at the pacific ocean side must avoid.

usa west coast will also kenna hit in a few mth time after japan release the radioactive water.

Try not to eat imported food from japan including processed seafood or snacks

 

may apply to taiwan and korea and china since they all close to one another

Water leaks indicate new damage at Fukushima nuclear plant

Cooling water levels have fallen in two reactors at the wrecked Fukushima nuclear plant since a powerful earthquake hit the area last weekend(Feb 13th), indicating possible additional damage, its operator said on Friday (Feb 19). New damage could further complicate the plant’s already difficult decommissioning process, which is expected to take decades.
